The Idealist, or spiritual view of the Seven Seals is that events repeat themselves. Makes perfect sense for how he shows up in Oxenfree. Hades was even said to have a helmet that could make him invisible. The crow is also commonly associated as a messenger of death.

Gabriel's horn, or trumpet, is associated with the Archangel Gabriel blowing the horn to announce Judgement Day. It is possible for Maggie to mention Gabriel sounding the trumpet. Maggie descends from Heaven to walk amongst her people to pass judgement. God pledged to descend from Heaven, walk amongst his people, and pass judgement from the Mercy seat during Judgement Day. Atop the ARK are 2 statues of Cherubim, unearthly beings who attend to God.Īccording to the Hebrew Bible the Cherubim's wings would come together to form the Mercy seat. Amongst other religious artifacts it houses 2 stone tablets with the 10 commandments written on them. The ARK of the Covenant is a gold covered wooden chest, built by Moses as he was instructed by God. In Maggie's attic it's possible for her to mention the ARK of the Covenant. It is why when pressed about specific details about Alex's life, Maggie often doesn't know or remembers things differently. We get confirmation that Maggie saw the car accident.
